Job Title: Commercial and Business Development Executive

Job Summary
We seek an ambitious and dynamic Commercial & Business Development Executive to drive our growth strategy, enhance client relationships, and strengthen our commercial operations.
This role focuses on customer acquisition, lead generation, market analysis, and performance forecasting to expand and retain our client base.
The successful candidate will manage invoicing processes, identify new business opportunities, conduct data analysis to guide decision-making, and maintain high standards in customer relationship management.
This role demands a proactive and analytical professional with strong communication and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in formulating and implementing the company’s commercial and business development strategy.
Oversee invoicing, commercial operations, and business development activities.
Identify new business opportunities through partnerships, market research, and lead generation.
Perform in-depth commercial and sales analysis to improve business performance.
Address and resolve all commercial and invoicing-related issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective stakeholder communication and service delivery.
Conduct risk assessments related to commercial and business development operations.
Mentor and coach commercial team members on best practices.
Secure business deals by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Respond to RFPs and follow up on client inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings through engaging presentations.
Maintain and update a client prospect database using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel).
Execute cold-calling and outbound sales campaigns to meet sales targets.
Collaborate with senior management to forecast sales and set performance goals.
Prepare accurate and timely reports based on data analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of business development and commercial operations.

Lead Conversion Rate Across Lifecycle Stages.
Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) to Customer Conversion Rate.
Customer Lifecycle Duration.
Volume of New Business Opportunities.
Cost Per Lead (CPL).
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
Customer Retention Rate.
Average Revenue Per Account.
Accuracy and Quality of Analytical Reports.
Job Requirements
Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree.
7 - 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in mid-level management.
Proven experience in the port and shipping industry is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Professional qualifications (e.g., CIM, NIMN, MBA, MSc in Marketing) are desirable.
Certifications such as IIBA-CBDA, PMI-PBA will be considered an asset.
