Job Title: Technical Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Technical Social Media Specialist to join our team!
• This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in video shooting, high-quality video editing, graphic design, and content engineering across all social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create and engineer original, high-quality content (video, text, and image) tailored to each platform (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Shoot and edit high-quality videos and images for posts, stories, reels, and advertisements using advanced tools and techniques.
• Use graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut) to produce visually stunning content.
• Optimize and maintain technical aspects of social media content to ensure maximum engagement and visibility.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance metrics to refine and improve strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in video production, content engineering, and social media management.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and branding teams to ensure consistency in the brand’s voice across all channels.
• Manage and grow the brand’s online presence by delivering consistent, engaging content and fostering meaningful audience engagement.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: 3-7 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or in a similar technical content role.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in video production (shooting, editing), graphics design, and advanced content engineering tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, Photoshop).
• Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others.
• Creativity: Exceptional creative and technical thinking with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining high-quality output.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical content in an engaging manner.
• On-site: Must be available to work onsite at our Lekki office.
