It also manages Elo Trease Warehouse in Ughelli, providing essential storage solutions. In the manufacturing and production space, the group operates Elo Water in Otokutu, Warri, and EJ Bakery in Warri. Additionally, Honour Flow owns Elo Ice Cream, delivering sweet treats, alongside a fuel station and gas station serving the energy needs of the community. The group also holds Revelation Bank in Ughelli, contributing to the financial sector.

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced and passionate Eatery Cook to join our culinary team. As an Eatery Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety. 
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be expected to follow recipes, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. 
• Flexibility, reliability, and a passion for food are essential qualities for success in this role. Your duties will include preparing ingredients, cooking meals according to the menu, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all food is stored and handled properly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Ensure food is cooked and presented properly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Adapt to special dietary requests and allergies
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Minimize food waste through proper portioning and storage

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Culinary training or certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or eatery
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• must be in ughelli preferablylady
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
