We design, build and operate the lowest cost hybrid (solar and biomass) power plant and distribution network in India and Africa. To date, Husk has provided electricity to over 15,000 homes and business, reducing 95,000 tonnes of CO2. Our aim is to provide 30MW of power to 225,000 customers by 2025, and save 350,000 tonnes of CO2 each year.

Job Title: Talent Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development:
Design and execute training and development programs to address skill gaps and foster professional growth.
Continuous skill-building- assessment & program designing.
Develop leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
Assess training needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Employee Development:
Create and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Identify leadership potential and implement succession planning strategies.
Coordinate mentoring, coaching, and continuous learning initiatives.
Performance Management:
Design, implement, and manage performance management systems.
Provide tools and resources to support managers and employees in achieving performance goals.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Reward and Recognition Programs:
Develop and implement reward and recognition programs to motivate employees and enhance performance.
Benchmark industry trends to ensure competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive systems.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to evaluate and update recognition initiatives to ensure they align with business values and employee expectations.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
Promote DEI initiatives to create an inclusive work environment.
Partner with leadership to ensure DEI principles are integrated into talent strategies.
Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor key talent metrics such as turnover, engagement, and workforce demographics.
Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement talent management improvements.
Qualifications
General Requirements and Attributes:
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in talent management, learning and development, or a similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of talent development and employee engagement practices.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Soft Skills
Proficiency in HR software and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Experience with performance management systems and tools
Additional Information:
Location: This role is based in Abuja, Nigeria, with travel across Husk Mingrid Sites.
