Job Title: Client Service Executive
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
As a vital link between Clout Africa and our clients, the Client Service Team plays a key role in acquiring new business, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service that leads to long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
This team must combine strategic sales techniques, excellent customer service, and strong internal collaboration to drive business success.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities using a mix of digital, social, and traditional sales strategies.
Build, manage, and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients by providing exceptional service and consistent follow-up.
Schedule regular touchpoints with clients to understand their evolving needs and recommend relevant Clout Africa solutions.
Achieve revenue targets by converting prospects into clients and upselling/cross-selling to existing accounts.
Client On boarding & Campaign Management:
Coordinate on boarding of new clients by ensuring a seamless and professional first-time experience.
Process client media purchase orders promptly and accurately.
Liaise with internal teams (content, production, scheduling) to manage campaign execution, track deliverables, and provide timely updates to clients.
Sales Support & Proposal Development:
Prepare customized media plans, pricing proposals, and campaign costings tailored to client objectives.
Present and articulate campaign proposals persuasively during meetings and pitches.
Assist the marketing team with lead qualification, campaign strategies, and promotional planning.
Client Communication & Support:
Respond swiftly and professionally to all client inquiries via face-to-face meetings, phone, email, or virtual platforms.
Handle client requests for sponsorships, interviews, outside broadcasts (OB), compliance, and other special services.
Communicate timelines, deliverables, and updates with clarity to manage expectations and prevent issues.
Documentation & Data Management:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, KYC data, and correspondence history.
Organize and safeguard contracts, proposals, invoices, and campaign documents for easy retrieval.
Regularly update the client database and prepare reports for management analysis.
Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing, creative, and content teams to ensure campaign alignment and client satisfaction.
Provide client insights and feedback to internal stakeholders to influence campaign strategy and product development.
Customer Experience & Retention:
Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating client needs, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining a positive demeanour.
Act as the voice of the client within the company, advocating for their interests while aligning with company goals.
Monitor campaign performance and client satisfaction, and initiate retention strategies (e.g., loyalty programs, post-campaign reviews).
Education, Experience and Skill Set
Degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences or any other related field.
Experience with lead generation and prospect management.
Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Persuasive and goal-oriented.
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives.
Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
Demonstrated and proven sales results.
Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
