Job Title: Head of Technology

Location: Lagos

Overview

• Kaplo Africa is urgently hiring a Head of Technology for a client’s business unit in Lagos.
• The role involves leading the engineering team, driving innovation, and aligning technical strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and manage the engineering team.
• Develop and execute a technical roadmap.
• Ensure high-quality product development and delivery.
• Lead hiring, mentoring, and development of engineering talent.
• Collaborate with internal teams and represent the company externally.
• Handle PII data processing responsibilities (data collection, security, storage, transfer).

Requirements

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering, 6+ years in leadership.
• Strong technical background (e.g., Java, Node, Angular, Ionic, Postgres).
• Proven record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred).

Salary
N2,000,000 - N2,300,000 / Month.
