Job Title: Field Inspection Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Reports to: Field Supervisor

Job Summary

• The Field Inspection Engineer is responsible for conducting thorough post-installation and maintenance inspections at client sites. 
• This role ensures that all technical work meets company standards, adheres to safety and quality guidelines, and aligns with customer expectations. 
• The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Assurance

• Conduct daily inspections of completed installation and maintenance tasks at residential and enterprise sites
• Verify that all work complies with company technical standards and safety protocols
• Identify, document, and report deviations, faults, or risks in executed jobs

Technical Testing & Verification

• Perform service functionality checks and ensure performance benchmarks are met
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technical diagrams to verify network integrity

Client Engagement & Feedback

• Collect customer feedback on service quality and address any complaints or concerns
• Serve as a liaison between clients and technical teams for service improvements

Reporting & Coordination

• Compile and submit detailed inspection reports with findings, test outcomes, and recommendations
• Coordinate with installation and technical support teams to implement corrective actions where necessary
• Ensure timely submission of reports to the back-office operations team

Compliance & Development

• Adhere to all company and safety guidelines during field operations
• Stay updated on installation standards and emerging technologies in the telecom space

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in field engineering, quality assurance, or telecom installations
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cabling standards, and diagnostic techniques
• Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and using inspection tools
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Competence in report writing and MS Office tools (Word, Excel)
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel frequently.
