The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) in collaboration with ITF-Industrial Skills Training Centre, Ikeja, Lagos invites applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential for:

Title: Technical Skills Training Programme

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Duration: 6 months

Description
The six months intensive training is in the following trade areas:

• Electrical / Electronic Maintenance
• Mechanical Maintenance and Machining
• Automobile / Autotronics Works
• Instrumentation and Process Control
• Welding and Metal Fabrication Works
• Information and Communication Technology
• Refrigeration and Air-conditioning.

Objectives

• This programme is aimed at training and equipping youths with employable and entrepreneurial skills in the trade areas mentioned above. 
• It is also designed to promote Public-Private partnership in Vocational and Technical Skills Training.

Programme

• Successful candidates will enjoy FREE tuition, lunch and monthly stipend.
• The programme is non-residential. Candidates will therefore be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme.

Requirements

• Applicants should be between the ages of eighteen (18) and thirty-five (35) years and required to possess any one of the following qualifications:
• Senior Secondary School Certificate
• National Technical Certificate in any of the above trade areas
• National Diploma Certificate
• Higher National Diploma or B.Sc.

Entrance Examination
Selected candidates will be contacted to come for an aptitude test. Candidates will be expected to come along with the following;

• 2 passport-sized photographs
• Original Birth Certificate
• Educational Qualification Certificate(s)
• Original and photocopy of National ID/Voter's Card or International Passport.
