ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project (TSDP) / Timoyab Venture Catering Academy Culinary Skills & Techniques Intensive Training Programme

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with Timoyab Venture Catering Academy, Ikare-Akoko invites applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potentials for:

Title: Culinary Skills & Techniques Intensive Training Programme

Location: Ikare-Akoko, Ondo
Duration: Four Months

Objectives
The training will:

• Create job opportunities for the unemployed by providing them with basic catering training skills.
• Provide in-depth mentorship and opportunities for participants to become entrepreneurs capable of starting and running sustainable hospitality business.
• Ensure candidates are equipped with requisite skills and business acumen to succeed in the hospitality industry.

Programme

• The programme is non-residential. Candidates, will, therefore, be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme. 
• Successful candidates will enjoy tuition fee FREE; Stipend and they will be awarded a hospitability industry recognized certificate upon successful completion of the programme.

Requirements

• Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and are required to posses a minimum of Secondary School Certificate Examination (WAEC, NECO or NABTAB).
• In addition, good numerical ability and fluency in communication skills will be an added advantage.

Entrance Examination
Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted for a test and should bring along the followings:

• Original Birth Certificate
• Original Educational Qualification Certificate (s)
• Original and Photocopy of National ID/Voters Card or International Passport.
