Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Oshodi - Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

• TMAsourcing Solutions is seeking a proactive, people-driven, and highly experienced HR Manager for a fast-paced and dynamic event management company. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of the human resource function, including recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development. 
• This role requires a strategic thinker who is also detail-oriented and excellent at execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company’s goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process—from sourcing to onboarding.
• Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with legal and internal requirements.
• Lead performance management processes, including appraisals, KPIs, and employee development plans.
• Support department heads in managing and resolving employee relations issues, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate training and development programs to improve employee skills and retention.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and health & safety regulations.
• Administer compensation, benefits, leave, and HR policy adherence.
• Conduct routine audits on HR practices and ensure continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present HR metrics, reports, and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Champion employee engagement, well-being, and retention initiatives.
• Liaise with external partners such as recruiters, training vendors, and legal counsel.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc./ HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 –10 years of proven experience in a Human Resources Management role, preferably in the event or hospitality industry.
• HR Certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and policy enforcement.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in HR software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Age requirement: 30 years and above.
• Must reside within Oshodi, Apapa, or surrounding areas.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly (Based on experience)
