We are looking for a high-performing Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations - from procurement and production planning to inventory management and distribution.
The ideal candidate will ensure that our products reach the right place at the right time, in the right quantity, and at optimal cost.
Job Purpose
To lead and manage the entire supply chain function at natnudO Foods, ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and customer satisfaction through streamlined supply chain activities.
Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across the supply chain network.
Planning and Forecasting:
Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and align supply plans accordingly.
Ensure accurate production planning to meet market demand while managing inventory cost-effectively.
Procurement and Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms while reducing risk and ensuring uninterrupted supply.
Inventory and Distribution:
Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.
Oversee warehouse and distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Performance Monitoring:
Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain functions such as lead time, fulfilment rate, cost-to-serve, and supplier performance.
Utilize data and analytics to improve service levels and reduce supply chain costs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to food safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations throughout the supply chain.
Identify supply chain risks, bottlenecks, and operational challenges and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional supply chain team to build in-house capabilities and foster a high-performance culture.
Promote collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field.
Minimum of 6 - 8 years’ progressive experience in supply chain or operations management.
Professional certifications such as APICS, CIPS, or equivalent are an added advantage.
Prior experience in food manufacturing, agro-processing, or FMCG is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, drive cost reduction initiatives, and improve supply chain efficiencies.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management, and data analytics tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
In-depth knowledge of logistics, procurement, and warehouse operations.
