Job Description
Our client seeks a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead her Sales and Marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
This role requires excellent negotiation and communication skills, a deep understanding of financial market trends, and the ability to translate client needs into tailored service solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our finanacial market presence and ensuring long-term business sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager – Deposit Mobilisation, you will responsible for the following:
Sales of Company Financial Products and Services.
Sourcing Funds and Accounts opening for both Corporates and High Networth Individuals.
Managing investments portfolios and accounts.
Relationship Management.
Compile and profile names of High Networth Individuals/Corporate Organisations that fit the target market description.
Facilitate meetings, for presenting our services offerings.
Achieve set cluster meeting targets.
Coordinate at the team level, the development and execution of all market strategies.
Facilitate conversion of prospects including follow up of individuals, group/clusters, companies and achieve set conversion targets.
Upselling of pre-qualified retail clients to other services.
Obtain referrals from clients in line with the targets set for the team.
Generate weekly/monthly reports on progress of conversion of prospects.
Achieve nil record of client complaint and work with the CRM and other teams to provide speedy resolution should any complaint arises.
Provide support towards all Company’s related events and actively create opportunities for the sales.
Other responsibilities may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Key Performance Metrics
N150M Investment mobilization monthly, Minimum of 10 accounts conversion.
Identification of minimum of 10 Companies for B2B Marketing.
Identification of a minimum of 20 prospects per month (120).
Minimum of 4 leads through referral per month (24).
Weekly update of marketing report – Every Friday.
Pre and post call memo for all calls – Daily.
Comprehensive monthly report on all marketing activities – First working day of the following month.
Portfolio position reporting to clients on a monthly & quarterly basis – Two working days after month end.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must have a minimum of B.Sc Degree in relevant field of application.
Minimum of 5 year progressive work experience in financial service sector.
Must possess a sales, marketing, negotiation, and communication skill.
Must beagile, Innovative, and professional.
Skills & Competencies:
Must be analytical.
Able to understand complex information.
Strong mathematical skills.
Confidence.
Good presentation skills.
Relationship management.
Salary
N600,000 - N750,000 / Month.
