We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Specialist (Lightning and Electrical Division)

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: Luxury Lighting, Electrical Solutions, Turnkey Interiors

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Business Developer to drive expansion within the high-end lighting and electrical space. 
  • The ideal candidate will spearhead market penetration, lead B2B and B2C sales pipelines, cultivate key partnerships, and contribute to the creation of a scalable business model. 
  • You must have strong industry insight (lighting, interiors, real estate, or engineering), a robust sales track record, and a passion for growing luxury solutions in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the business development strategy to grow market share across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools and reporting structures for lead generation and conversion.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with developers, architects, designers, procurement officers, and project consultants.
  • Coordinate with branch teams in Lekki and Asaba to drive showroom visits and walk-in conversions.
  • Develop and propose new revenue models including project-based procurement, lighting-as-a-service, and client-retention programs.
  • Represent the brand at trade exhibitions, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on strategic promotions and product campaigns.
  • Provide monthly business development reports to the Managing Director with performance insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or B2B client management.
  • Industry exposure to lighting, electrical, real estate, or interior solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Strong ability to close high-value deals and manage client accounts effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools or business analytics platforms.
  • Ability to lead a sales function and align with executive strategy.
