Job Title:Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer
The E&I ENGINEER oversee the technicians in performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements of E&I maintenance activities with a high level of safe and productive performance of the refinery E&I installations.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
Lead the E&I maintenance team to execute planned and emergent maintenance jobs.
Facilitate the processing of JHAs, PTWs and work method statements in compliance with job execution ethics.
Review procedures necessary to ensure compliance to all company, industry, and regulatory agency requirements.
Review procedures necessary to ensure compliance with all company and industry standards including regulatory agency requirements.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings for maintenance activities prior to commencement of jobs.
Schedule E&I installation and maintenance jobs to affect a minimum interruption of production throughput.
Contribute to provision of specific information for E&I maintenance parts, tools, and equipment requirements.
Facilitate execution of all E&I maintenance jobs.
Maintenance of Transformers, power distribution boards, MCCs, UPS, HVACs, electric motors, PLC panels, I/O panels, BMS, F&G systems, PSVs, PVSVs, regulators, controllers, gauges, transmitters, switches, analyzers, flow meters, SSOVs, control valves etc.
Replacement of E&I installation and control systems.
Replacement of transformers, electric motors, circuit breakers, overloads, cables, control valves, SSOVs, and other equipment as may be needed, including calibration and validations of instrument devices
Testing and functionality inspection of transformers, electric motors, circuit breakers, cables, VFDs, contactors, control valves, SSOVs, and other equipment as may be needed, including calibration and validations of instrument devices.
Support and supervision of third-party contractor activities.
Maintain close contact with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and controls installations.
Optimize maintenance works to affect a minimal amount of overtime
Ensure good housekeeping practices at work.
Participate in available cross training sessions to effectively develop skills of other team members in specific areas.
Use testing equipment for integrity assessment to optimize equipment service reliability.
Perform industry and regulatory inspections as required.
Support contractors to perform specialty services
Mark-up changes made on existing installations in the P&IDs and other line drawings necessary for update by the Process Engineer.
Perform any other job duties as may be directed by the Maintenance coordinator.

Minimum Requirements
BSc / HND in any Mechanical Engineering
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
More than ten years of practical and working experience in Oil & Gas facilities
Working experience in electrical, process, controls, and automation systems.

Knowledge of E&I corrective maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of E&I breakdown maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of PTW processing and application procedures
