We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Controls and Process Improvement Intern

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform accurate data entry and assist in analysing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development, monitoring, and updating of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Help manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by organizing and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Track and monitor company expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct research on financial topics, market trends, and industry benchmarks to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to finance, such as maintaining financial records, filing documents, and updating financial databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or related fields.
  • Must be serving or completed NYSC.
  • Good Financial and Analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Available to work fulltime for the duration of 1 year.
