We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Facilities Officer oversees all building-related activities and is responsible for preserving the good infrastructure condition and ensuring that facilities are safe and well functioning. 
• The facilities Officer must be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. 
• He/she will also ensure the maintenance, safety, and functionality of the salon premises, equipment, and amenities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the salon premises to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
• Vendor Management-Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Oversee the upkeep of salon equipment, including nail stations, grooming tools, and spa facilities.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables and place orders as needed.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for staff and clients.
• Conduct regular assessments of health and safety hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with management to plan and execute renovations, expansions, or reconfigurations as needed.
• Developing and managing the facilities budget- Forecasting expenses and tracking spending.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports related to facilities
• Ensure that the salon's aesthetic and ambience align with the brand's image and standards.
• Overseeing maintenance and repairs of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Requirements

• 1 – 3 years of proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary
N160,000 Monthly.
