We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Secondary School CRS Teacher (IGCSE)

Location: Rainbow College, Ikota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the education and welfare of designated classes and groups of pupils at the direction of the Head teacher, in accordance with the requirements of the school.
• Have due regard for the requirements of the National Curriculum, this school’s aims, objectives, and schemes of work, and the policies drawn up by this school’s
• Governing Body, as well as contributing to the ethos of the School.
• Plan, prepare, and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the classes they are assigned within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum, and schemes of work as directed.
• Teach, according to their educational needs, the pupils assigned to you, including the setting and marking of work carried out by the pupils in school and elsewhere.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, development, progress, and attainment of assigned pupils.
• Participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external examinations, assessing pupils for the purposes of such examinations, and recording and reporting such assessments; and participating in arrangements for pupils’ presentation for, and conduct in, such examinations.
• Maintain good order and discipline among the pupils you are teaching, and share in the corporate responsibility for the well-being and behaviour of all pupils in school.
• Safeguard the pupils’ and your own safety, both when authorised to be on the school premises and when you are engaged in authorised school activities elsewhere.

Requirements

• B.Sc/BA in CRK (Education) with at least 3 years of work experience
• Candidates must have graduated from any of the existing credible universities and be versatile in both the Nigerian and British School curricula.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a CRS teacher
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent people skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Familiarity with interactive teaching tools and 21st-century teaching methods
• TRCN Certification is an added advantage.
