Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Human Resource and Administrative Executive to join their team.
The successful candidate will oversee HR functions and administrative operations, ensuring efficient management of staff, resources, and school processes.
This role requires a proactive professional with strong organizational skills, a passion for education, and the ability to create a supportive and productive work environment that aligns with the school’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment cycle for teaching and non-teaching staff, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and selection.
Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new staff into the school community.
Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, and performance data, using HR databases and systems.
Administer payroll, staff benefits, and compliance with school policies and Nigerian labor regulations.
Develop and implement HR and administrative policies to support the school’s objectives and ensure compliance with legal and educational standards.
Organize and facilitate staff training programs, professional development workshops, and team-building activities.
Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary processes, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Conduct performance evaluations and collaborate with school leadership to set staff goals and development plans.
Oversee administrative tasks, including managing school facilities, coordinating events, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Prepare HR and administrative reports to support strategic decision-making by school management.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, educational regulations, and safety standards.
Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to support school operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR management and/or administrative roles, preferably in the education sector.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, recruitment strategies, and Nigerian labor laws.
Familiarity with administrative operations in a school or similar environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR or administrative software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems, or school management systems).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
Certification in HR (e.g., CIPM or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school leadership, staff, and parents.
Salary
N100,000 - N250,000 monthly.
