We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media & Visual Content Officer

Location: Akure, Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• You must be creative to develop and execute a cohesive content strategy for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube), focusing on increasing visibility, engagement, and brand awareness.
• You should be someone who can design and produce original, high-quality graphics and visual assets (posts, stories, reels, banners, infographics, product visuals) tailored to each platform and campaign.
• Photography is an asset to create storytelling content that showcases cocoa produce, farmer stories e.g., capture and edit photos and videos during field visits, product shoots, or company events for content use.
• You must be able to manage the company’s online image and brand identity by ensuring all digital visuals are aligned with brand guidelines.
• Ensures regular monitoring of social handles, audience engagement and trends for content creation and optimize engagement.
• You must be a team player to collaborate with other departments and can work under little or no supervision to develop accurate and impactful posts.
• Ensure to stay up to date with digital tools, visual trends, track performance analytics and cocoa-related industry news to keep content fresh and relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media and producing digital content (ideally in agriculture, FMCG, or cocoa-related sectors).
• Strong proficiency in graphic design tools Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva.
• Hands-on experience with social media management tools e.g., Meta Business Suite.
• Basic photography and video editing skills such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
• Solid understanding of digital storytelling and brand voice consistency.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
