Job Title: Relationship Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Building and Maintaining Relationships:

• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
• Actively listen to and understand clients' financial goals, needs, and concerns.

Providing Personalized Service:

• Offer tailored solutions and advice based on individual client circumstances.
• Promptly and effectively resolve client issues and complaints.

Staying Informed:

• Keep clients updated on their portfolio performance, new products, and relevant market information.

Business Development Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Win new accounts focused on loan and deposit generation while expanding the company's client base.
• Identify and promote relevant products and services to existing clients through cross-selling and upselling.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, contributing to the company's overall revenue growth.

Financial Expertise Responsibilities:

• Provide sound financial advice and guidance to clients.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
• Evaluate client risk profiles and recommend appropriate investment strategies.
• Manage client investment portfolios and ensure they are aligned with their financial goals.

Other Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all relevant regulations and internal policies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and activities.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments within the company.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in relationship management or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients effectively.
• Ability to understand financial products and services and provide relevant solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and risk profiles.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
