Job Title: Assistant Spa Therapist

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency in service delivery, adherence to safety protocols, and guest satisfaction at all times.
• Serve as a reliable support resource to Spa Therapists and guests, maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked spa environment.
• Maintain effective and continuous communication throughout the day, offering relevant and constructive information to the Spa Therapist.
• Monitor spa inventory levels regularly and promptly notify the Spa Therapist of any items requiring restocking.
• Report all maintenance-related issues immediately to the Spa Therapist to ensure swift resolution and uninterrupted guest service.
• Deliver personalized and attentive care to each guest to create a distinguished 5-star spa experience.
• Prepare treatment areas in accordance with established protocols prior to scheduled appointments.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and apply practical problem-solving skills while supervising spa operations and guest interactions.
• Engage with guests using positive, courteous, and professional communication to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both opening and closing procedures of the spa facility.
• Promote and support safe working practices and contribute to the maintenance of a safe work environment at all times.
• Perform additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the Spa Therapist to ensure operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (O’Level).
• Preferred: 0–2 years of experience in a resort, hotel, salon, or spa setting.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with spa environments and guest service standards.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with spa or salon booking software is an advantage.
• Strong persuasive communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
