Job Title: Product Category Manager - ICT Gadgets & Appliances

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
If you have the tenacity to drive and support a great vision, then this is what you will be doing:

• Manage a wide range of SKUs across multiple product categories, including computing devices and home/office appliances.
• Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
• Analyze market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, marketing, and inventory teams to ensure category success.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and optimize product performance through data-driven insights.
• Plan and execute promotional strategies to boost visibility and revenue.
• Forecast demand and manage stock levels to minimize overstock and stockouts.

Requirements
What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus
• 5+ years of deep experience in Product Management, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior product managers
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable product plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience working in agile development environments with ERP proficiency and microsoft office suites.
