Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR System and Process Audit and Compliance Manager to oversee and audit HRMS system and HR processes across our 40+ plants in Nigeria.
This role is crucial for ensuring that HR processes, payroll, onboarding, and all HR-related SOPs are adhered to with precision, complying with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
The HR System and Process Audit and Compliance Manager will collaborate with plant locations' HR Managers at each location and provide detailed reports to the Head of National HR.
Key Responsibilities
HRMS System Audit and Compliance:
Conduct regular audits of the entire HRMS system and HR processes (H2R), including but not limited to Employee records, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and employee exit procedures.
Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory standards.
Verify Maker-Checker processes across all locations to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Monitor HRMS entries, transactions, payroll calculations, overtime (OT), attendance, joining, and exit processes for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure monthly payroll process on time as per defined calendar for across the locations.
Coordination with the HRMS system business partner for process and controls improvements, training, and system adoption at ground level with the support of local HR Managers and HRMS system integration partner.
Process Standardization:
Evaluate existing HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure standardization across all plant locations.
Identify discrepancies in HRMS processes and work with plant HR teams to implement corrective actions.
Drive consistency in HR documentation and filing processes.
Coordination and Reporting:
Collaborate with HR Managers at each plant to streamline audit activities and ensure seamless communication.
Generate compliance and audit reports for the Head of National HR with detailed findings and actionable insights.
Track follow-up actions and ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issues.
Risk Management:
Identify risks in HRMS systems and HR processes that could lead to potential fraud, non-compliance, and process failures.
Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimise exposure.
Training and Guidance:
Provide training to HR Managers on best practices for compliance and HRMS process improvements.
Conduct workshops to enhance understanding of HRMS requirements and company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HRMS with 2-3 years in system and process auditing, compliance, or process management.
Strong understanding of HRMS systems, HR processes, payroll, employee lifecycle, and labor law compliance.
Proven experience in a multi-location environment, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with HR Managers and senior leadership.

Based in Ikoyi, Lagos, with frequent travel to various plant locations across Nigeria.
Regular interaction with plant HR Managers and the Head of National HR.
