New City University is a newly licensed private university in Nigeria, specifically located in Aiyetoro, Ogun State. The prestigious institution offers programmes in the following Faculties: Faculty of Basic Medical and Allied Sciences, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Faculty of Computing and Sciences, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, and Faculty of Law.

Job Description
The Registrar is a Principal Officer and the Chief. Administrative Officer and Custodian of the University documents.
He / She will be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University except for the financial matters which fall within the purview of the Bursar.
The Registrar is also the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate, Convocation, Congregation, and other statutory bodies as defined by the University Laws.
He / She shall also perform all other duties assigned to him/her by the Board of Trustees, Council and the Vice-Chancellor from time to time.
The Candidate:
The candidate, who will be Registrar, given the complexity and scientific nature of the administrative processes of a 21st century University, must not only be a goal-getter but must also be able to show drive, exceptional initiative, great ability for institutional networking with the outside world and must have a suave mien that typifies a 21st Century world class University.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate must possess a good University honours degree.
He/She must also have at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience.
The candidate for the position must have served at least as a Deputy Registrar in the University administration for at least five (3) years.
Requirements:
The candidate shall not be more than 60 years of age on assumption of duty.
A person of impeccable integrity and strong moral character with the ability to relate excellently with staff, students (alumni), and the general public.
A person with an articulate vision for the development of the University in general and the Registry in particular, combined with a strong passion to implement the University vision.
Highly conversant with the intricacies and peculiarities of a private university system.
Of good physical and mental health, pleasant disposition:
An appreciable level of ICT literacy and the ability to meet deadlines.
Conditions Of Service
New City University offers conditions of service comparable to what obtains in similar private universities of its standing, as well as those in the Nigerian public university system and as may be determined by the Council from time to time. The University Registrar will hold the position for a single term of five (5) years.
