ORÍKÌ Training Institute (OTI) is Nigeria's first indigenous spa training institution, established by ORÍKÌ Group to empower individuals and professionals in the spa and wellness industry. OTI offers comprehensive training programs that blend theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students to become certified spa professionals and managers. The institute provides courses in massage therapy, skincare, facials, body treatments, waxing, nail care, and spa management. Additionally, OTI offers consultancy services to entrepreneurs looking to establish or enhance their spa businesses.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, functionality, and efficiency of all physical locations operated by ORÍKÌ.
This includes ensuring that facilities are well-maintained, compliant with health and safety standards, and support the smooth running of daily operations across spas, offices, and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilties
Facility Maintenance & Upkeep:
Manage day-to-day operations of all ORÍKÌ facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
Schedule and supervise regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination:
Liaise with artisans and service providers (electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, etc.) for timely and quality service delivery.
Supervise onsite work to ensure standards and deadlines are met.
Verify and document vendor activities and invoices for accuracy before payment processing.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all facilities meet health and safety regulations.
Monitor fire extinguishers, emergency exits, lighting, and other compliance standards.
Report hazards, ensure repairs are done, and support incident documentation.
Facility Support & Logistics:
Support facility setup for meetings, events, or new spa openings.
Maintain inventory of facility tools, materials, and equipment.
Monitor utilities (water, power, etc.) and report unusual usage or outages.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Prepare and manage the facility management budget, including maintenance, repairs, utilities, and equipment.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Track and report on facility-related expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain daily or weekly facility checklists and incident logs.
Provide regular reports on facility status, pending repairs, vendor performance, and recommendations.
Track and document costs related to facility maintenance.
Qualification
