Job Title: Project Manager

Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects at our Bank.
This role requires a strong understanding of both technology and financial services, with a focus on regulatory compliance, customer-centric solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of strategic projects across various banking services (e.g., digital banking, regulatory compliance, core banking transformation).
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
Act as the main point of contact between business units, technology teams, vendors, and management.
Ensure adherence to internal project governance frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., CBN regulatory requirements, AML/KYC, etc.).
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, prepare status reports, and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party deliverables meet quality and compliance requirements.
Promote best practices in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies based on project needs.
Leverage collaboration and communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, Confluence) to drive productivity, coordinate across internal teams, and maintain effective engagement with external stakeholders such as vendors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile / Scrum certification.
Experience delivering projects involving core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or fintech platforms.
Familiarity with change management practices and organizational transformation.
Requirements:
5 years of project management experience, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory environment.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency with collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, SharePoint)to facilitate seamless coordination with cross-functional teams and external partners
