We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, including pricing and terms of service.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the company.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar energy installations, including roof inspections and shading analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and develop customized solar solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations to potential clients, outlining the benefits and ROI of solar energy systems.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process, including addressing technical inquiries and overcoming objections.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, government incentives, and regulatory requirements related to solar energy to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in solar or renewable energy sales.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of solar energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, and mounting structures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform site assessments and conduct shading analysis using industry-standard software tools.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
