Job Title: Interior Design Architect

Location: Life Camp, Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

• TheInterior Design Architectwill be responsible for interpreting client needs, creating technical drawings, sketches and preparing necessary documentation to bring design concepts to life. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong portfolio, and the ability to work directly with clients to ensure their vision is realized.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their architectural needs and preferences.
• Technical Drawings & Sketching: Develop design concepts, sketches, and technical drawings based on client specifications.
• 2D, 3D Drawings & Visualization: Produce high-quality 2D and 3D renderings and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Project Estimation & Quotations: Prepare accurate cost estimates and project documentation.
• Customer Interaction: Provide professional guidance to clients, helping them understand architectural choices and project feasibility.
• Design Revisions & Finalization: Incorporate feedback to refine designs, ensuring they meet client expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with other professionals, including construction teams and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and software updates related to architectural visualization
• Other necessary tasks as required.

Requirements

• HND, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with astrong portfolioof previous work.
• Smart, presentable, and professional.
• Proficiency in architectural software such asAutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Architecture certification is preferred but not compulsory.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret and visualize complex design conceptswith the ability to create compelling 2D and 3D representations of concepts.
• Strong communication, customer service skills, as the role involves direct client interactions.
• Proximity to Life Camp, Abuja is important.
