Job Title: Account Executive

Job Summary
As a HEALA Sales Account Executive, you’ll act like the CEO of your accounts, driving growth, nurturing relationships, and delivering health-as-a-service solutions that truly change lives.
You’ll combine strategic thinking, customer empathy, and execution to help SMBs and Businesses adopt our platform and embrace a better healthcare future.
Own end-to-end sales for your assigned SMB accounts from prospecting to closing.
Develop strategic account plans that align with HEALA’s mission and meet customer needs.
Build strong, trusted relationships with business owners, HR leads, and other decision-makers.
Communicate HEALA’s value clearly and compellingly across digital health, insurance, and care delivery.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management:
Actively build and manage a strong sales pipeline with a focus on SMBs (typically 20–100 employees).
Identify, qualify, and follow through on inbound and outbound opportunities.
Leverage marketing, partnerships, and CRM tools to support your sales funnel.
Maintain accurate records of contacts, deals, and forecasts.
Sales Strategy & Market Growth:
Use data and insight to identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
Collaborate with product, partnerships, and customer success to deliver holistic client outcomes.
Bring feedback from the field to help improve our products and go-to-market strategy.
Stay ahead of trends in health tech, digital insurance, and Nigerian business behavior.
Leadership & Culture:
Embody HEALA’s values: empathy, excellence, trust, and resilience.
Serve as a role model within the sales team, helping refine our processes and tools.
Represent HEALA with credibility and care from startup expos to boardroom pitches.
Requirements
Core Experience:
5+ years in software sales, business development, or B2B customer engagement.
Higher National Diploma (Preferred)
Proven success selling SaaS or tech-enabled solutions to SMBs in Nigeria.
Experience navigating complex sales cycles from prospect to contract.
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales pipeline reporting.
Nice to Have:
Experience or exposure to the HMO or insurance sectors.
Technical understanding of software products or healthtech platforms.
A background in working with HR leads or decision-makers in SMEs.
