We are seeking a strategic, highly driven, and experienced Business Development Officer to lead our Sales and Marketing Department.
This role is a senior-level position responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, leading a team of Sales Executives, and ensuring all revenue and performance targets are met.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, and digital marketing, and should have previously headed a marketing or business development department.

Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for the Sales and Marketing team, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and vision.
Develop and implement strategic business development and marketing plans to drive client acquisition, sales growth, and market expansion.
Set weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets for the sales team and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Supervise and mentor Sales Executives, monitor individual and team performance, and provide support to help them close deals and reach targets.
Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to strengthen team capabilities.
Oversee and manage all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, social media marketing, paid ads, content strategy, and analytics to generate qualified leads.
Identify new market opportunities, partnership channels, and client segments to expand the business reach.
Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to win new clients.
Coordinate with the customer service and support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve sales and marketing strategies.
Prepare and present regular business development reports to executive leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or departmental head role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing platforms.
Highly aggressive in approach to market penetration and client acquisition.
Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Google Suite, digital advertising platforms, and marketing automation tools.
