Key Accountabilities
Sales Performance and Customer Service Excellence:
Lead the sales process to consistently meet or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators.
Develop and oversee strategic boutique events to augment the client experience.
Communicate and manage individual and team KPIs alongside the Management Team for continuous improvement.
Delegate and lead boutique-assigned task to ensure operational excellence.
Brand Representation and Environment Cultivation:
Champion the Ashluxury brand ethos, ensuring that the boutique exemplifies the brand's premium image and standards.
Cultivate a boutique environment that reflects luxury and elegance, appealing to the boutique’s discerning clientele.
Encourage self to provide a bespoke customer service experience that aligns with the brand’s reputation for exclusivity and quality.
Lead by example, representing the brand with professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
Facilitate a culture of continuous learning and brand advocacy among team members through regular training and brand immersion activities.
Implement visual merchandising strategies that showcase the brand’s products and heritage, creating an inviting and captivating shopping experience.
Customer Engagement and Sales Generation:
Actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending products or services to meet those needs.
Using effective sales techniques to convert customer inquiries into sales.
Product Knowledge:
Maintaining a thorough understanding of the products or services offered by the retail store, including features, benefits, and pricing, in order to effectively communicate with customers and address their questions or concerns.
Customer Service Excellence:
Providing exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring that customers feel valued and satisfied with their shopping experience.
Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
Meeting Sales Targets:
Working towards and achieving individual and team sales targets set by the retail management.
Proactively seeking out opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to maximize sales revenue.
Visual Merchandising Support:
Collaborating with visual merchandisers and store managers to ensure that products are displayed effectively and attractively, enhancing their appeal to customers and driving sales.
Promotions and Marketing:
Assisting with the implementation of sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and events to drive foot traffic to the store and increase sales opportunities.
Handling and Transactions:
Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment securely, and reconciling daily sales receipts.
Collaboration:
Working collaboratively with other sales associates, as well as store managers and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and positive working environment that contributes to overall sales success.
Continuous Learning and Development:
Staying informed about industry trends, product knowledge updates, and sales techniques through training programs and self-directed learning to continuously improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a premium or luxury retail environment,
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. ∙Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.
Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
Passion for fashion, culture, and lifestyle.
Preferred:
Experience in fashion/luxury retail in Nigeria or internationally.
Familiarity with CRM tools and clienteling best practices.
