As the Electrical, Instrumentation & Automations Engineer, you are responsible for executing and managing projects across electrical systems, control panels, switchgear, instrumentation, and automation platforms.
This role requires a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and technical expertise.
You must demonstrate ownership and accountability across all assigned tasks, adhere to laiddown proceduresand approval hierarchies,and work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
You will also be expected to actively convert client challenges into structured, replicable, and revenue-generating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, fabrication, and testing of control panels and switchgear, ensuring full compliance with safety and operational standards.
Develop and implement electrical engineering designs, automation solutions, and instrumentation calibrations tailored to client-specific needs.
Uphold and follow operational procedures and communication protocols, securing required approvals before making scope-related decisions.
Proactively identify inefficiencies or risks in client operations and propose viable, scalable, and technically sound solutions.
Execute on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems, including drives, sensors, relays, PLCs, and SCADA.
Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring effective negotiations, timely deliveries, and quality assurance of components and services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in automation and control technology, and lead internal training or upskilling initiatives where applicable.
Interpret and produce engineering drawings, including P&ID, ISO drawings, and electrical schematics.
Perform calibration of process instruments (e.g., flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature controllers) and support ISO 9001-compliant practices.
Take full ownership of project execution, ensuring quality delivery within time and budget, and escalating risks proactively.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce strict safety protocols before, during, and after project execution.
Maintain detailed project documentation, reporting, and service logs for traceability and performance monitoring.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve service delivery, drive innovation, and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Physics, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial automation.
Demonstrated expertise in building and wiring control panels, MCCs, and switchgears.
Strong experience with AC drives, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineeringdocumentation.
Proven ability to work unsupervised, make informed decisions, and deliver exceptional results under pressure.
High regard for hierarchical communication, documentation, and reporting protocols.
Sound knowledge of safety regulations, engineering standards, and compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant engineering tools.
