Supervises: Machine / Utility / Mould/ Plant Maintenance

Job Description

• The maintenace Technician will handle periodic maintenance of machine/Utility/Mould and plant maintenance.
• Perform periodic checks on Machine and solve problems as detected. Work with others in order to ensure that Machines/ Utility / Mould is in proper working order.

 Responsibilities

• Check and attend production machines, mixing machines & Grinders and utility section problem.
• Check the Preventive maintenance planning & make sure that all the production machines, Mixing, Grinding, Utility section are running accordingly.
• First point of contact for any machine , mould, and other problems-tries to rectify if knowledgeable – otherwise inform Maintenance HOD.
• Maintain Diesel stock and maintenance activities by controlling the leakage and DG Running hours.
• Follow the Maintenance planning & instructions given by maintenance HOD/Management.
• Maintain the discipline on shop-floor. ( Do not rough behavior with moulds & machines, Any worker should not sleep while on duty, Do not wastage Energy / Fuel / Spare / and other goods Etc. All Technician on duty wear PPE
• Ensure safety & security measures are adhered to safeguard the goods, moulds, machinery & machinery & human beings etc.
• Ensure cleanliness & upkeep of machinery, Shop-floor.
• According to preventive maintenance plan do the maintenance of machine.
• Ensure the quality of product being produced after Done Preventive of machine.
• Monitor & control all Maintenance activities in mixing section, Grinding section, Production machine section, Quality testing equipment, etc. Also utility section (Generator, cooling water pumps / cooling tower, Fire hydrant system, RO, water treatment system etc.).
• Communicate & co-ordinate with maintenance HOD of spare part if Required for smooth operation in plant.
• Attend Daily Machine, Mould, Mixing, Grinding, Utility, etc. problem.
• Maintain GAS GEN /DG Running Hours and Change GAS GEN/NEPA/DG panel whenever no power.
• Maintain Spare issuing stock any time use any spare parts.
• Maintain Daily work done book.
• Daily Mould Tightening, and Cleaning work to be done.
• Check and Repair Mould trolly, material trolly, truck, etc.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / HND with 1 - 2 year in injection/extrusion plastic processing.

• Spare part Inventory.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with Foreman
• Excellent manufacturing skills, and handle the pressure in a positive manner.
• Experience working with colleagues and associates locally.
• Passionate, energetic and maintain a positive attitude.
• Working Knowledge of Manufacturing process

WORK CYCLE ( 12 HOURS/ DAYS):

• Monday – Sunday(7.00 AM – 7.00 PM)
• Monday - Sunday ( 7.00 PM- 7.00 AM).

Remuneration

• Between N180,000 - N220,000 monthly Gross.
