Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Processing Lead to oversee and manage end-to-end loan processing operations.
• This role is responsible for leading a team of loan processors, ensuring timely and accurate loan documentation, compliance with lending policies, and delivering a seamless experience for customers.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan operations, credit analysis, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily loan processing activities from application to disbursement.
• Review loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the point of escalation for complex or high-risk loan files.
• Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) for loan turnaround times.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance management for loan processing staff.
• Collaborate with credit analysts, underwriters, legal teams, and relationship managers to resolve discrepancies and streamline processing workflows.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to loan processing efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the enhancement of loan systems and operational procedures.
• Maintain strong documentation and audit trails for internal and external reviews.
• Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in loan operations.

Qualifications

• HND / BSc in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field.
• Certification in credit/lending or financial services operations is a plus.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in loan operations or processing, with at least 1 - 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of lending processes, credit evaluation, and loan documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in loan management systems and Google workspace/microsoft office tools.
