Job Summary

• We are currently recruiting for the position of a marketing officer who will join our team of professionals within the business development.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans that are profitable for the organization in line with broad-basedpolicy directives.
• Identify and evaluate new markets, business opportunities, and prospects for new clients to improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth.
• Keep abreast of market and industry trends.
• Develop and explore various business strategies and opportunities for growth within the Nigerian Economy
• Evaluate the market penetration of the company’s products and services to ensure growth and repositioning of Funds and Portfolio within the Investment banking and financial advisory sphere in Nigeria, Africa and Internationally
• Actively lead all business development efforts and initiatives within the department and act as the Executive Relationship Manager to existing and prospective clients
• Actively drive and contribute to business operations and productivity within the company and leverage opportunities presented towards increased revenue in the company
• Work in concert with the head of department to achieve the organization's objectives and corporate goals, vision, and mission.
• Do all such things as may be ancillary to the responsibilities listed and may be reasonably required of your office towards the overall growth of all practice areas in the Organization

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc. Degree in Social Sciences, Management, Accounting
• A relevant Master's Degree or professional qualifications (ICAN or ACCA) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of post-NYSC experience with exposure in financial reporting, financial modeling, business development, relationship management, funds, and portfolio management.
• The candidate should not be more than 35 years old.

Job Requirements:

• Must be experienced working with a Microfinance bank or a financial institution
• Proven excellent track record of achievement in this role or similar role in a dynamic corporate environment
• Registered as a Sponsored Individuals with Securities and Exchange Commission is an added advantage
• Ability to think strategically whilst maintaining a pragmatic perspective.
• In-depth understanding of the impact of changes/trends in the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of the local and global financial services industry
• Ability to conduct high-level competitor analysis and benchmarking.
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong influencing style, executive presence, and confident personality
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize across concurrent tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with high-value orientation.
• Desirable Skills Understanding of the public and private sectors in Nigeria.
• Understanding of the business models of financial services organizations
• Prior experience participating in investments in private equity or venture capital.
• Experience with capital/fundraising nationally & internationally.

Salary
N200,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
