Job Overview

• As a Retail Artist/Beauty Consultant, you will provide expert makeup application and skincare consultations using the MAC Cosmetics product line.
• You’ll support customers with product recommendations, drive sales, and maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide personalized product advice.
• Demonstrate makeup application techniques using samples.
• Educate customers on skincare routines and product usage.
• Stay up to date on trends in makeup, skincare, and beauty.
• Promote current promotions and in-store events.
• Process payments and manage purchases efficiently.
• Organize and replenish product displays.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety standards.
• Work independently or collaboratively to meet sales goals.
• Maintain detailed records and a portfolio of work.
• Confidently handle customer inquiries and difficult situations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3–4 years of work experience.
• Certificate or Diploma from a recognized beauty school is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques, tools, and skincare products.
• Must have specific knowledge of MAC Cosmetics.
• Proven experience in retail sales and customer service.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sales-driven with excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify skin types and recommend suitable products.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluent in English.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional appearance.
• Able to maintain clean, safe, and secure workstations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Confident under pressure and in time-sensitive situations.

Salary
N140,000 - N160,000 Monthly.
