United Nigeria Airlines is a wholly owned Nigerian company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 at the Corporate Affairs Commission to offer commercial air transportation services under the trade name United Nigeria.
The CAMO Engineer will ensure maintenance on aircraft and prepares analysis on maintenance forecast.
He/She will ensure daily update of the Inspection Status board and the weekly distribution of the same to the designated management staff.
Duties / Responsiblities
Ensuring advance planning of all required maintenance on aircraft or aircraft components so asto ensure that all maintenance is accomplished within the intervals specified in the approvedmaintenance programme.
Liaison with the CAMO Manager for the plan to make aircraft required for maintenance availableat the appropriate time.
Notifying the CAMO Manager as to aircraft or component maintenance requirement well inadvance to facilitate planning for the necessary equipment and manpower resources.
Preparing work package for the inspection called up in the process of the implementation ofapproved maintenance programme and advising the Store officer as to provide the spare partsrequirement for upcoming inspections.
The daily update of the Inspection Status board and the weekly distribution of the same to the designated management staff.
The regular update of the computerized maintenance planning sheet and a weekly printing and distribution as required.
The regular update of the computerized Aircraft Component status history and a monthly print out of the same to monitor component life.
Systematic filing of the aircraft technical log and worksheet and proper arrangements of the file to make location of documents easy as well processing the information contained in the aircrafttechnical log and completed worksheets into the Aircraft, Engine and Propeller logbooks as appropriate.
The keeping and complete updating of the Aircraft, Engine and APU log books.
Maintaining a record of compliance for all accomplished airworthiness directives andmanufacturers’ service bulletins or letters.
Ensures that the revision status of the manual/documents agrees with that of the manufacturersand vendors.
Prepare aircraft documents for NCAA C of A renewals when due.
The Planner issues a weekly forecast of required maintenance activities rolling on a monthly cycle and also issues a yearly maintenance schedule to all concerned.

Prepares and analyses maintenance forecast to plan all inspections, overhauls, AD Compliance,SB/EO compliance and other maintenance requirements for Airframes, Engines, Landing Gears, APUs, Components etc, in accordance with NCARs.
To review and maintain the SB and AD status of each aircraft and review the planned incorporation to ensure that spares required will be available.
To track, maintain and monitor STC (Supplemented Type certificate) ICA (Instruction fo Continuing Airworthiness) and LDND (Last Done Next Due) Bec
Experience & Qualification
Degree in Engineering/Sciences or equivalent
At least 3 years as an experienced Planning Officer in an Airline/AMO
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to use ladders, work stands, lifts, etc. and be able to work on all areas of the aircraft that may require access during performance of duties
Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces.
Physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light liftingof boxes, bags, files and electronic equipment
Must not have any medical conditions that preclude certification of aircraft run/taxi of company aircraft and vehicles
