We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Matchday Operations:

Ensure the stadium is ready, manage player logistics, and coordinate all matchday activities.

• Financial Oversight:

Oversee team budgets, manage payroll, negotiate contracts, and ensure financial compliance.

• Player Support:

Coordinate support for players and off-field staff, ensuring they have everything they need to perform at their best.

• Logistical Management:

Manage travel arrangements, equipment, and facilities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

• Communication:

Facilitate communication between players, coaches, management, and other stakeholders.

• Contract Management:

Manage player and coach contracts, including negotiations and execution.

• Staffing:

Assist in appointing and managing team support staff like team managers, trainers, and runners.

• Pre-Season Planning:

Coordinate the formulation of the Football Operational Plan, including pre-season preparations.

• Equipment Management:

Oversee the maintenance and management of all training and match equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Help the organisation’s processes remain legally compliant
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Find ways to increase the quality of customer service

Requirements and skills

• Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
• We are looking for a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organisation’s operations.
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organisational skills.
