Communication and Social Media Volunteer at Ensemble Aid Foundation

Ensemble Foundation is a national humanitarian organization dedicated to reducing suffering, restoring dignity, and strengthening the resilience of vulnerable populations in Nigeria. Since our founding in January 2025, we aim to provide life-saving and life-enhancing support in the areas of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), health, education, and livelihood development. We collaborate with local communities, governments, and international partners to develop impactful and lasting solutions to pressing humanitarian challenges.

Driven by the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence, we strive to meet the urgent needs of displaced individuals, refugees, and host communities. Additionally, we address the underlying causes of vulnerability through long-term development initiatives. Our approach prioritizes rights, ensuring that the most marginalized populations—including women, children, and individuals with disabilities—are empowered and included in every aspect of our programming.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Communication and Social Media Volunteer

Location: Jimeta, Yola - Adamawa

Summary

• We are looking for a dynamic and proactive volunteer to increase our presence on social media and share communication content about Ensemble Aid Foundation's humanitarian activities.
• The ideal candidate is comfortable using social media and video editing, and enjoys suggesting new ideas and creating content.

Key Responsibilities:
Social media management:

• Create and schedule content for Ensemble Aid Foundation (EAF) social media platforms: posts, stories, and reels.
• Take and edit photos and videos during EAF office and field activities.
• Respond to comments, messages, and engage with our online community.
• Track social media performance (likes, shares, comments, reach) and suggest improvements.

Communication:

• Collect quotes, stories, and feedback from community members and project participants.
• Collect quotes, stories, and feedback from EAF team members.
• Ensure all content respects privacy, dignity, and humanitarian communication standards.

Visibility:

• Support in designing flyers, banners, and basic communication materials.
• Conduct suppliers’ assessment and collect price data for communication materials and visibility items.
• Assist in organizing communication campaigns or online events.

Qualifications & Skills

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1-5 years experience.
• You must be comfortable using the mainstream social media, including Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• You must be creative and innovative.
• You must have basic skills in video editing.
• You must be able to communicate and engage with humanitarian workers, community members, and local authorities.
• The candidate must show the ability to work in a team.
