Flavours Master, a subsidiary of Crystal Shield Limited, a rapidly growing restaurant known for its wide range of delightful continental, Africana, and snack offerings, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations and spearhead our expansion.
As COO, you will be the strategic backbone of our restaurant, responsible for optimizing day-to-day operations, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring efficient execution across all departments.
You will work closely with the CEO to translate our vision into actionable plans and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development for Increased Profitability
Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimize all aspects of restaurant operations, including kitchen management, front-of-house service, supply chain, inventory, and facility management.
Strategic Execution: Translate the CEO's vision and business strategies into clear operational goals and ensure their effective implementation across all levels.
Financial Performance: Manage budgets, control costs, analyze financial data, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
Team Development & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Quality & Standards: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures for food preparation, service delivery, and hygiene, ensuring an unparalleled dining experience.
Customer Experience: Champion initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, build loyalty, and effectively resolve any operational challenges that may arise.
Growth & Expansion: Play a key role in identifying opportunities for growth, streamlining processes for scalability, and supporting future expansion plans.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirments
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA is a significant advantage.
Proven experience (minimum of 7-10 years) in a senior operational leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry, ideally with multi-unit management experience.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, implement best practices, and improve performance metrics.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
A deep understanding of the Nigerian culinary landscape and customer preferences is a plus.
