Job Summary

• The Raw Material Personnel is a critical role responsible for ensuring the seamless receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of all raw materials used in production.
• This position demands high levels of accuracy, organization, and physical stamina to support production schedules and inventory control processes.
• The role involves close collaboration with the production, procurement, warehouse, and audit teams to maintain material integrity, reduce wastage, and enforce stock discipline.
• This role is suited for a detail-focused individual eager to develop expertise in inventory management, ERP system utilization, and production support within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect raw materials shipments to verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
• Store raw materials safely and systematically in designated areas to maintain organization and prevent damage.
• Issue raw materials to production lines based on approved work orders and requisitions.
• Update and reconcile inventory records using the ERP system (e.g., ODDO) to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and support monthly and quarterly physical stock audits.
• Monitor stock for discrepancies, damages, and expiry; report issues promptly to management.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast material requirements and avoid stock outs.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or production support roles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably ODDO) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physically fit and able to carry out material handling tasks.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
