Summary
As ErrandPay’s Finance Manager, you will be the key driver of financial excellence and strategic decision-making.
Your expertise will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, overseeing the reconciliation of merchant transactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals and support ErrandPay's growth and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that impact the company's financial performance.
Provide actionable insights to the executive team for improving financial efficiency and profitability.
Merchant Transaction Reconciliation:
Oversee the reconciliation process for merchant transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Implement robust controls to prevent and detect discrepancies, errors, and fraud in merchant transactions.
Collaborate with the technology and operations teams to streamline reconciliation procedures and enhance efficiency.
Cost Management and Financial Controls:
Monitor and manage expenses, ensuring optimal cost structures and adherence to the approved budget.
Establish and maintain effective financial controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising the quality of services provided.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, management reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.
Cash Flow Management:
Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to support day-to-day operations and long-term growth.
Optimize cash management strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for business needs.
Identify potential cash flow issues and develop solutions to address them proactively.
Financial Strategy and Decision Support:
Collaborate with the executive team in developing and executing financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment.
Evaluate investment opportunities and potential acquisitions to enhance the company's financial position.
Investor Relations and Fundraising:
Engage with investors, analysts, and stakeholders to maintain transparent and productive relationships.
Assist in fundraising efforts, presenting financial performance and growth prospects to potential investors.
