Job Title: Senior Business Manager
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
Supervise cleaning operations across all client sites to ensure consistent service quality and contract compliance.
Monitor staff performance, site inspections, and customer feedback to maintain high cleaning standards.
Oversee the deployment and productivity of cleaning supervisors, janitors, and support staff.
Ensure all tools, cleaning chemicals, and equipment are effectively utilized and maintained.
Business Development & Client Retention:
Develop and implement growth strategies to expand into new markets and sectors (e.g. residential, commercial, healthcare).
Prepare and present cleaning proposals, bids, and tenders to prospective clients.
Build and manage long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and contract renewals.
Represent the company in networking and industry events to boost brand visibility.
Strategic Planning & Performance Monitoring:
Collaborate with management to develop annual goals, budgets, and performance targets.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery, revenue, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Analyze trends and reports to improve business operations and market positioning.
Financial & Resource Management:
Support budget planning, cost control, and revenue management to maintain profitability.
Ensure timely invoicing, receivables follow-up, and monitor project costs.
Recommend cost-saving and service-enhancing initiatives without compromising quality.
Team Leadership:
Supervise operations managers, supervisors, and office support staff.
Identify training needs and organize capacity-building programs for cleaning operatives.
Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and safety in the field.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field. (MBA is a plus)
5+ years of experience in cleaning/facility management or a similar service industry.
Have initiative and strong leadership skiils.
Experience in client relationship management and business development.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in MS Office, report writing, and scheduling tools.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
