Role Overview

• We’re looking for a skilled Backend Engineer (Python) to join our engineering team onsite.
• You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems and APIs that power our products.
• This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about backend architecture, clean code, and building reliable, scalable systems in Python.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services in Python.
• Architect and optimize scalable server-side applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers and product managers.
• Manage databases and ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot software and server infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Work closely with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and automation tasks.
• Stay updated with new backend trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What We’re Looking For

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong Python skills (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
• Proficient in working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases
• Experience with Docker, Git, Redis, Celery
• Familiarity with backend security practices
• Excellent debugging and testing skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and availability to work onsite.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets
• CI/CD and DevOps experience.
