Description

• We are looking for a Bread Dispatcher to oversee and coordinate the timely distribution of bread products from bakeries to various retail outlets, restaurants, and other clients. The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliveries are scheduled efficiently, routes are optimized, and that products arrive fresh and on time.
• This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
• The Bread Dispatcher will monitor inventory levels, manage delivery schedules, and resolve any logistical issues that arise during transportation. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records of deliveries, coordinating with suppliers and clients, and ensuring compliance with food safety and transportation regulations.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the supply chain for bread products, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is preferred, along with proficiency in route planning software and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily bread deliveries to vendor.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient Delivery of ordered goods by vendor.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with bakery production teams.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Resolve logistical issues and delays promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and transportation regulations.
• Communicate with clients regarding delivery times and special requests.
• Optimize bread sharing among vendors and proper bread count to avoid shortage.
• Collaborate with loaders to load efficiently.
• Track delivery performance and report on key metrics.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
• Must have 1 year experience
• Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with route planning and logistics software.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
