Job Title: Legal Intern

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our Legal Department.
• The Legal Intern will provide support to the in-house legal team by assisting with legal research, document review, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and administrative tasks.
• This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
• Support compliance efforts and help ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in the preparation of case files, legal opinions, and briefings
• Attend legal and departmental meetings, taking notes and providing summaries
• Maintain and update the legal database and filing systems
• Provide administrative support to the legal team as required
• Assist in corporate governance tasks, including board meeting documentation
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Legal Manager or team

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Law degree program (LL.B or equivalent)
• Strong interest in corporate/commercial law, contract law, or regulatory compliance
• Law school program completed
• NYSC Program completed

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
