Key Responsibilities
Deliver all lessons using the school’s provided materials
Mark all assigned pupil work promptly and professionally
Administer assessments according to school guidelines
Maintain a clean, organised, and engaging classroom environment
Provide constructive written feedback in pupils’ books and communicate effectively with parents
Work professionally under the direction of the Curriculum Director.
Essential Requirements
For your application to be considered, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Female applicants only
Must be a resident in Ibadan and live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
B.Ed in Primary Education Studies or B.Sc. with PGDE from a reputable institution
Minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience teaching in a structured school setting
TRCN certification is mandatory
Strong classroom management and excellent teaching skills in core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science
Able to teach a broad range of primary subjects
Confident use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
Ability to adopt the school’s handwriting scheme and write legibly
Excellent written and spoken English language skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain high-standard classroom displays
High expectations for pupil behaviour, progress, and attainment
Sound knowledge of learner tracking, assessment, and feedback
Strong understanding of safeguarding practices in educational environments
Have thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
Willingness to use only school-provided lesson materials (no personal schemes)
