Advocacy for Resilience and Innovative Solutions for Youths, Women, and Children Empowerment (ARISE Youths, Women, and Children) is a women-led, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the prolonged hardships caused by insurgency, natural disasters, and economic adversity into pathways for growth and renewal.
Our organization is dedicated to contributing to efforts that address pressing needs within vulnerable communities. We work alongside partners to support initiatives in areas like education, livelihood, protection, climate action, and children's nutrition. By focusing on these areas, we aim to empower marginalized populations—especially youth, women, and children—creating pathways to resilience and sustainable growth.
The Program Volunteer will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of ARISE’s programs and initiatives.
This role involves assisting in program coordination, community engagement, documentation, and reporting to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
The volunteer will work closely with program teams to facilitate field activities, support beneficiary outreach, and contribute to the overall success of ARISE’s interventions. Additionally, the role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program management, advocacy, and community development while contributing to ARISE’s mission.
Duties and Responsibilities
Program Support:
Collaborate with the program team to assist in defining program objectives and strategies.
Provide support in developing program plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Assist in identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement innovative program ideas.
Project Assistance:
Support project managers and coordinators in the execution of program activities.
Assist in monitoring and tracking program progress, ensuring milestones are met within scope and quality standards.
Contribute to resource allocation, including budget tracking and management.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Assist in cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders.
Collaborate with external partners to facilitate resource sharing and enhance program impact.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Assist in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities to assess program outcomes.
Contribute to data analysis and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making.
Collaborate in the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND / BA / B.Sc. Degree with at least 2 years experience.
