Job Overview

• We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media and digital marketing team.

• This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects for a variety of clients, creating compelling video content that drives engagement and delivers real results.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video content including social media videos, commercials, corporate videos, promotional content, and marketing campaigns
• Work with diverse clients across multiple industries, adapting style and approach to meet varied brand requirements
• Collaborate with creative directors, account managers, and clients to bring video concepts to life
• Take creative ownership of projects and contribute innovative editing techniques and storytelling approaches
• Experiment with new tools, techniques, and trends to keep our content fresh and cutting-edge
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
• Color correct, audio mix, and add graphics/motion graphics to enhance video quality
• Optimize videos for various platforms and formats (social media, web, broadcast)
• Maintain organized file management systems and project archives
• Lead creative brainstorming sessions and champion innovative ideas
• Provide input on video production planning and post-production workflows
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge of emerging techniques

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in standard video editing software (Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics
• Understanding of various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques
• Knowledge of social media platform specifications and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working across multiple industries and client types
• Knowledge of video production processes (pre-production through post-production)
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media trends
• Portfolio demonstrating versatility across different video styles and formats
• Experience with client-facing communication and presentation

Work Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position
• Location: Ikeja GRA.
