Head of Finance at the Directorate of the Baptist Mission Schools (BMS)

Baptist Mission Schools (BMS) is located at Bodija in Ibadan and currently has fifteen (15) secondary schools and two (2) Primary schools in its purview spread across the nation. In pursuit of academic excellence, the Directorate aims to inculcate the character of Christ into the lives of the students with a view to making them better citizens.

Job Title: Head of Finance

Location: Bodija, Ibadan - Oyo

Responsibilities

• The suitable candidate for this post shall head the Finance and Supplies Department.

Competencies and other Requirements

• Must have a Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant with at least ten (10) years work experience in a finance-related job.
• Must not be under 40 or above 50 years of age at the time of assumption of duty by 1st August, 2025.
• Must be able to analyze financial data to predict future funds requirements and drive business growth.
• Must be able to design and implement financial plans that align with the organisation's overall business strategy.
• Must have the skill to identify and solve financial problems.
• Must respond adequately and effectively to changing financial conditions of the organisation.
• Must pay attention to details by maintaining accuracy when dealing with numbers.
• Must identify and assess any crucial threats to the organisation's capital, earning and operations.
• Must be computer literate and be versatile in relevant accounting software applications.

Remuneration
